Amazon Skatepark

Where Is It?
2580 Hilyard Street Eugene, Oregon. Located on the west end of Amazon Park near 30th Avenue and Hilyard Street.

Description:
Snake run leading to small 2-3ft bowl with rough tombstone. No true vert. Good for beginners. Rough concrete.

Fun Rating: (Scale of 1-5 with 1 = no fun and 5 = super fun)
I give this park a 2. It was fun while I was new to skating vert but it got boring as I got better.


Cal Young

Where Is It?
Corner of Crescent and Gilham, Eugene Oregon. From I-5, take Beltline Highway exit 195 West to the Oregon Coast. Take Coburg Road exit. Turn right/North onto Coburg Road. Turn left/West on Crescent Ave. Take Cresent to Gilham, the park is on your left.

Description:
Street oriented park with pyramid, rails, and ledges. Quarter pipe sections ranging from 2ft to 6ft.

Fun Rating: (Scale of 1-5 with 1 = no fun and 5 = super fun)
I give this park a 4. This park has some fun features. The small 2 foot quarter pipe is good for learning new vert tricks. I learned to do a 50-50 grind, stall drop, and rock to fakie here. This park gets really crowded in the afternoons.


Churchill

Where Is It?
18th and Bailey Hill Road Eugene, Oregon.
From I-5 take the Beltline Highway exit going West. Take Beltline until it ends at W. 11th. Turn left onto W. 11th. Take W. 11th to Bailey Hill Rd. Turn right onto Bailey Hill. Take Bailey Hill past W. 18th, and on a bit further. The skatepark is on the right, just past Churchill High School. You can park in the parking lot across the street from the park. (Sometimes cars get towed from the parking lot up the hill from the park.)

Description:
All vert park. Has a big 10 ft bowl, a 6 foot bowl, a tombstone, and more. Tight corners but really fun.

I give this park a 5. I recommend this park because vert skating is FUN! There are different areas you can skate so even if it is crowded you can still get a line in. There are a lot of bikes but the bikers are all really friendly. Not a good park for beginners.

Ashland

Where Is It?
Intersection of E. Hersey and Water St. Ashland, Oregon. From I-5 take Exit #19 and go south on Valley View. Take the first left at Eagle Mill Road and follow it's curves for a mile or two. Where Eagle Mill sort of forks, go right on Oak Street and over the bridge. Follow Oak Street through the residential and at the first stop sign, go right on E. Hersey Street. You'll see the skatepark on your left almost immediately.

Description:
At Ashland you can skate street or vert depending what you like. It has a mini snake run, three pyramids one with a rail, a dot, mostly coping, a single 6 foot bowl, a tall "punk wall", and a connected set of three bowls ranging from 4-9 feet.

Fun Rating: (Scale of 1-5 with 1 = no fun and 5 = super fun)
I give this park a 5. I recommend this park because you can skate there no matter how good you are. Plus you can skate street, rails, and vert. This park is fun for everyone!

Albany

Where Is It?
1375 Sixth Ave SE. Albany, Oregon. From I-5 north take the Santiam Road/99E exit and head west on Santiam. Go left on Pine. The park is on your right.

Description:
At Albany you can skate street or vert depending what you like (but its mostly vert). There is a rail, a big bowl, a four foot wall and more.

I give this park a 4. I recommend this park because it is fun. You can skate rails, and lots of vert. This park is fun for everyone!

Newberg

Where Is It?
Newberg, Oregon. Highway 99, in Newberg follow the railroad tracks (Blaine St)going south. Then continue down the gravel road into a parking lot and close by is Newberg.

Description:
At Newberg you can skate rails, or vert depending what you like (but it mostly vert). There is a rail, a high snakerun like bowl, a relly tall wall, 3 small bowls, a 6 foot bowl and more.

Fun Rating: (Scale of 1-5 with 1 = no fun and 5 = super fun)
I give this park a 5. I recommend this park because it is fun and so big it came hold lots of people . You can skate rails, and lots of vert and learn lots of new tricks. This park is fun for everyone if you enjoy skateboarding!

Aumsville

Where Is It?
From I-5, take exit #253 and go east on Hwy 22, to Aumsville, Oregon. In about 8 miles you will see signs for Aumsville. Once in town, head southwest on Main Street until you see the skatepark.

Description:
Aumsville has a 4 foot half pipe (one side is a spine). On the left side is a little bowl, and on the right is a 7 to 8 foot wall. Going on is a 12 to 13 foot bowl.

Fun Rating: (Scale of 1-5 with 1 = no fun and 5 = super fun)
I give this park a 4. I like park because it gives you a big challenge on your board.

Donald

Where Is It?
In Donald, Oregon. From I-5 take the Donald/Aurora exit and head west. In about one mile, go south/left on Butteville Road. At the stop sign, go east on Main Street. The park is next to the railroad tracks.

Description:
Donald has a pool on the right side of the park. On the left side is a 4 foot wall and in the middle is a hump.

Fun Rating: (Scale of 1-5 with 1 = no fun and 5 = super fun)
I give this park a 2. I do not like this park because it is too small.

Roseburg

Where Is It? Roseburg is one of the easier parks to find in Oregon. In Roseburg, Oregon, from I-5 take the Garden Valley Blvd exit #125 and go west. In about two blocks, you will see a Fred Meyers on the left. Take a left on Goetz Street, which is the light at the west end of Fred Meyers. You may also see a sign for Stewart Park (Stewert Park is close by the skatepark).


Description:
Roseburg has a big bowl, 3 3 to 5 foot walls, a 10 to 12 wall, rails, and more.

Fun Rating: (Scale of 1-5 with 1 = no fun and 5 = super fun)I give this park a 2 becuase it is too spread apart, there is no true vert accept the big bowl, it smells bad, and it has lots of bird poo.

Talent

Where Is It? From I-5 take the Talent, Oregon exit. Go west and through the stoplight. At the West Valley View stop sign intersection, go right. In a block or two take a left on E. Main Street and go a couple more blocks. The park is on the left, hard to miss, at Street Johns and E. Main Street.


Description:
Talent is a mostley vert skatepark with a lot of places to roll in. It has a big bowl,and 3 5 to 6 foot walls, and more.

Fun Rating: (Scale of 1-5 with 1 = no fun and 5 = super fun)I give this park a 4. I like it because it is mostley vert.

Corvalis

Where Is It?Downtown Corvallis under a bridge.


Description:
Corvalis has a spine, a box, a 5 to 6 foot bowl, and a lot more.

Fun Rating: (Scale of 1-5 with 1 = no fun and 5 = super fun)I rate this park a 2 because it is under a bridge that keeps it dry (the park is boring).

Medford

Where Is It?Medford is easily found from I-5 Medford, Oregon. Take Barnett Road exit #27 and head east for about two blocks. Then go left on Highland Drive. The first paved left is the skatepark's parking lot.


Description:
Medford has a 6 foot bowl, a 7 foot bowl, a tombstone, and a big bowl (11 feet tall).

Fun Rating: (Scale of 1-5 with 1 = no fun and 5 = super fun)I rate this park a 4, because it is big, fun, and they make you wear helmets.

Bethal

Where Is It? I do not know how to get there but it is by a lot of new houses and a new school.


Description:
Bethal has a 5 foot bowl, a 5 foot bowl with a roll in, a tombstone, and a 7-8 foot drop, and lots of other stuff, includeing a spine, and a allyway (the allyway is vert, rails, and street).

Fun Rating: (Scale of 1-5 with 1 = no fun and 5 = super fun)I rate this park a 5, because it is big, fun, and skateborders made it so it has a lot of fun stuff to skate on.

Veneta

Where Is It? I do not know how to get there.


Description:
Veneta has a 5 foot bowl and a lot of rails. It has a punk wall and a roll in. (Its made for vert, street and rails.)

Fun Rating: (Scale of 1-5 with 1 = no fun and 5 = super fun)I rate this park a 1, because I've only skated it once.

Dept. of Skateboarding

Where Is It? I do not know how to get there.


Description:
The Dept. of Skateboarding has a 4 foot bowl, a 5 to 6 foot kidney bowl, several roll ins, and lots more. The Dept. of Skateboarding is a inside skatepark so you have to pay to skate there.

Fun Rating: (Scale of 1-5 with 1 = no fun and 5 = super fun)I rate this park a 5, because it is a fun place to skate! (Made for vert and street skateing.)

Spokane

Where Is It? I do not know how to get there.


Description:
Spokane has 2, 10 feet bowls, also a fun snake run. The snake run was like a roller coaster with rises and dips.
